Business Requirement
The client is the Indian operations arm of the pharmaceutical major. They wanted to know instant information from their primary sales centres, 45 in number, spread across the country. The client wanted to know about the stock levels of their various products and the sales trends at their primary sales centres.
This would allow them to streamline their production.They could also recall products that might be nearing their expiry dates using this data. Additionally this information would also allow them to understand the sales trends prevailing at the sales centres. This business intelligence captured would be very useful for supply chain planning.
Technology Solution
The client turned to ANGLER to provide a solution to the above-mentioned problem. ANGLER built a web based supply chain solution, titled 'ebiznova', The solution took into considerations all the aspects of an out-bound supply chain and incorporated them into a web based application.
ebiznova' collected information relating to the sales, inventory, and finance from the sales centres. This information was then collated and processed by ebiznova. The processed information was then made into reports for perusal.
Additionally, ebiznova also utilized web-based file transfer mechanism for the collection of information.
