The client's company was established in the year 1910 and now it has under its wing diverse concerns that have made their mark in various fields - education, synthetic machinery and support systems. The companies have contributed in a large measure to the industry and to society.
 For close to a century, it has contributed to the development of the industry by promoting self-reliance, research, import substitution, exports and technology. The Company has also demonstrated its staying power by ensuring quality and customer satisfaction as the prime objectives
The Company celebrated its Golden Jubilee, Diamond Jubilee and Platinum Jubilee and is now gearing up for the centenary celebration by 2010.
Challenges
The client wanted an application that would enable them to do the following requirements:
- Maintain a list of Job Opportunities based on the job opportunity, there has to be option available to create job questions and an option to be available to set the threshold limit
- Maintenance of Job Specific Questions
- Maintain the Question bank
- Department, Location, Course & Specialization master
- Rejected Candidate details & delete option
What We Did
ANGLER studied the client requirements and provided a system that handles the following features
- The first page of the careers link displays the details of Company profile, Training details, Student Project details to the applicant for better understanding about the company before applying for any job opportunity / student project
- The Job Opportunities will be displayed in the top of the page and the student projects / Factory visit / pre-employment training will be displayed below the job opportunities.
- Display job opportunity information to candidates on Basic Qualification required, Skills / Knowledge / Experience required / preferred and responsibility, etc.
- Only Privileged user can access and update the details of this module
- On Submission of application, an acknowledge mail will be triggered to the candidate.
- Job profiles can be made inactive at any point of time.
- Auto checking for Preliminary Condition and rejection of resume, which does not qualify outright.
- Display the New, Short-listed, Resumes on Hold and Rejected resumes in easily identifiable manner.
- Date range, Education, Points range, Position wise filtering on applied resumes
- The resume status and remarks can be updated in the resume detail page
- Resumes delete option given to only admin / privileged user

- Administrator of this application can create a list of job opportunities and can activate / de-activate the job opportunities to display in the website
- Maintain job specific questions
- Visitors of the website / interested candidates can post their resume online.
- View Applicant details based on selection criteria
- Based on the threshold limit, the system will automatically reject the resumes
- Administrator can view the auto rejected resumes and can use them for their HR department process
