Challenges

The company wanted to develop online design editor tool for their online web portal. They want the users to design their own business cards and templates online.

What We Did

ANGLER studied and understands the clients requirements and has developed a customized web-based application to cater the needs of the client. We have developed a user-friendly application which is easy to design and develop online designs with Zoom and Pan functionality. The user can place the shape using the selection rectangle which reduces the overhead of setting the height and width individually. It takes the height and width from the selection rectangle and places appropriate shape. We have used JavaScript to control the flex application (.swf) and JQuery to control the testing panel whenever needed. Besides, we have also used JavaScript API to control the format of the text. It communicates with the swf and performs the operation based on the formatting options.

Results

The Online Design Editor Tool helps users to design business cards through performing text operations and picture manipulations. The application has the feature to control the display property of the text and picture like, resize, rotation and much more. Zoom and Pan Functionality allows the user to perform the pixel wise design corrections.
