The client is involved in creating the world's first online marketplace for cutting edge print designs. This marketplace is targeted at the business sector, a true "buy & sell" community wherein designers can upload and print creative designs. Business owners can download and use the content as a cost-effective alternative to hiring a designer - for situations where time and budget do not allow custom consultation.

Challenges

The client is related to printing industry and wanted print designers to sell their products using common gateway on a commission basis. They needed a portal application that should connect designers and customers throughout the world in order to publish their design and sell their templates. The application has to keep track of the user profiles and the operations done by the user. Further, privilege based operations should also be possible on the profiles. Users can create their own design, view purchase history and send mails to their group. Admin can view the various reports based on the orders placed and the list of clients. The ultimate goal is to build an organized and effective web portal application that facilitates the administrator to control and maintain product types and their related packages.
