Challenges

The company wanted to develop a desktop application to organize all the videos and images from the specified file path in the system. Besides, the application should also have tagging functionality. Users can tag the particular portion / specific time frame of the video and for the image files tag name can also be added.

What We Did

We have studied and understood the exact requirements of our client and have developed an application to organize video and image files from the specified file path in the system. User can select the multiple folder paths using the folder management module to scan the image / video content. The selected file path content displays the image and video files as thumbnails. By clicking on the thumbnail, the corresponding image / video will be displayed. If its a video file, then the application automatically starts playing the video.  The user can add the tag name for the entire image / video file or for the particular portion / time frame. Properties for the each file will be displayed in the bottom of the window. Besides, user can filter the content based on the file size and also video file duration.

Results

Our Video Organizer application is used to organize image / video files using the application without affecting the original content. Tagging is allowed for the particular portion / time frame, so that the user can play the tagged portion of the video instead playing the full video. Content can be filtered based on the size and duration of the video and also the application allows general search for the content based on the file name and tag name
