The client is a famous car racer. Recently they have come-up with an idea to establish a web application to support public to choose their dream car with top recommendations.

Challenges

The client wanted the search to be more specific, so we had used Solr search engine to fetch exact data from the database.

What We Did

Our team had developed an application to recommend a car for customer’s based on city and budget. The Solr search engine is used to fetch the exact results. The results will be based on the autocar rating. The car recommendations will be based on autocar rating and it is categorized as primary and secondary in which the primary will get to be displayed for top recommendations and the secondary will get to be displayed when customer results in further assistance apart from top recommendations. It is applicable for public support website which is developed using Cakephp.
